Blessing Day...

Today Dennis blessed Hayden at our church. It ended up being a really lovely day. The blessing was beautiful and I was happy to see my baby surrounded by men who love her and will bless her life and she grows. We had a bunch of family and a few friends come, which is pretty supportive considering they had to get to our church building at about 8:40 on a Sunday morning! I have such a great family.

Anyway, after the blessing, we all came to our house for a brunch. Between what I'd made and what my mom, grandma and aunts all provided, we had quite the spread! As much as the preparation always gets me a little stressed, today I truly enjoyed having everyone here! It was very laid-back and I loved having everyone come together to visit and celebrate Hayden's arrival. It was a fun day.

I feel so blessed to have another little girl. I love being a mom more than anything, and every child we've had feels like such a miracle to me. I never feel as close to my Heavenly Father as I do when I'm gazing at a new little baby. Hayden has been such a perfect addition to our family it's already like she's been here with us always. I love my sweet daughter so much.
