First day of Preschool...

Of course I'm getting this posted a few days late, but Emmie's first day of preschool was this past Tuesday. She has been asking when she gets to start preschool almost every day this summer, and was thrilled that the day had finally arrived!

On her first day of school, I drove her there and started getting out of the car so I could walk her in. She said, "Mom, I know where I going!" I told her mommy wanted to walk with her just this once, and she shrugged her shoulders like she was doing me a favor. When Claire started to whine a little as Emmie left, Emmie said, "Clay-o, I a big gul now and you still litt-o. Sowwy!"

She had preschool on Tuesday and Thursday and came home both days filled with news. She is having so much fun! I'm so glad she's happy there. I think she loves having something that is just her own that makes her feel grown-up.
