Family Reunion...

This past Saturday was a family reunion for my side of the family. We met in the Salt Lake area, and had a really good time. Dennis was at the BYU football game (of course) but I took the girls and we enjoyed a few hours with the fam.

The highlight of Kaiya's day was guessing closest to the correct number of dum dum suckers in a jar and winning the whole thing. She kept saying all the way home, "I am so proud of myself."

Emmie was her typical little self and had to show everyone her new "nastics" (gymnastics) skills. There was a huge grassy hill and she probably did 20 sommersaults down it. She had a stripe of mud down the middle of her back, but she had a good time and that's what counts.

Claire spent almost the entire time on the train at the play area there, or being pushed in the swing. She was happy.

Hayden spent most of her time with grandpa, who kept her relatively happy even though we were there all through naptime. She's never lacking for attention!

Sadly, Dennis got a little excited about cleaning out our camera space, and deleted a bunch of a cute pictures I took that day before they'd all been downloaded. :( I think he's secretly just sad that he's not in any of them. Here are a few that were salvaged. We're going to have to go visit great grandma soon to get more pictures of her with the kids because those most of the ones we lost. Oh well, there's always Thanksgiving...

There were horses near where we met and the girls loved feeding them. I kept telling Kaiya to keep her hand flat because she was going to get her fingers nipped, so then she kept walking around looking like a robot with both hands perfectly flat. Look how funny her hand looks here...
