Family Skate Night...

I'm up with a sick baby, so I might as well be blogging!

Kaiya's elementary school has a "Family Skate Night" at our local skating rink each year. Admission is free, and all the little kids can bring skates or scooters and roll around the rink to their hearts content.

Kaiya and Emmie had a blast.

True to form, Kaiya was pretty cautious, but she definitely got into it after a while and she seemed to have a lot of fun. She loved some of the group games they played like red light, green light.

Emmie kept going against the flow of traffic and about giving me a heart attack, but even when she fell and went sliding half-way across the rink, she still got right back up and kept going. She cried when we left and is already begging to go back.

Claire scooted around with Daddy's help for a little while, but found she most enjoyed dancing to the the music and eating pizza.

All-in-all it was a really fun night and we'll definitely be going again next year!

The best part was all the kids were completely worn out and every one of them fell asleep on the way home. Emmie and Kaiya fell asleep at the exact same time and this is how they ended up...

That picture of Kaiya and Emmie asleep is absolutely adorable!! By the way, I have a picture someplace of Dennis at King's Dominion on the bumper cars. Everyone else is going full-speed counter-clockwise, and there is Dennis going full-speed clockwise. His genes live on!

haha, those two little girls are so cute! I have seen first hand the funny positions they have then they sleep in the car. They fell asleep almost everytime they were with us.

They looked like they were having such a fun time. Wish I could have been there.

That picture of the girls asleep is so cute! My boys are asking when we can go again too. Too bad it's not free more often!
