Kaiya was asking today how long it is until her Papa Bugga comes to visit. I told her it's only two more primary's (that's how she marks the passing weeks) and then she asked if he'd be staying at the same hotel. She wants to know if she'll get to swim in that same swimming pool. I told her that I don't know, and she'll have to call and ask Papa tonight.
Then she said, "Good thing Daddy and Nannie and Papa will all be in the pool. That way I can be with Papa and Emmie can be with Daddy and Claire can be with Nannie, because you're not getting in, right?" I told her that I wouldn't be getting in this time (mainly because I am humongous and seriously unwilling to put on a swimming suit). Then she said, "Yea, you're so big if you got in this time you'd sink straight to the bottom!"
Thank you, Kaiya, for my daily dose of humility.

That is so funny. Actually you would float quite well. I know how you feel. I don't like to wear swim suits when I'm pregnant either.
Nothing like these kids to help us feel good about ourselves, huh?!? :o)
Oh the things little kids say!
Ya gotta love kids. It makes me wonder what they say when I'm not around.
When Emma was about 4 she told me that she wanted to have a big giant bum like mine someday...and I wasn't pregnant.
