Claire was very uncertain at first and didn't want to be in the water at all -
Papa Bugga was able to calm her down, and she finally enjoyed herself for a while!
Then it was time to warm up with daddy for a couple of minutes. Am I the only one that thinks they look a lot alike in this picture?
After some practice with the little floaty tube, Kaiya went off on her own kicking around the pool. She's getting better and better!
Here's Dennis swimming with the girls -
Emmie found a squirting toy and loved torturing Papa with it!
Emmie - she's getting so grown up!
After swimming Papa took us all on our annual Sam's Club trip, and let the girls pick a few fun toys for themselves. Nannie also got them each a very cute outfit. Thank you, Papa and Nannie! As we were all driving back to our home, it started SNOWING! I am so ready to be done with this crazy weather. I think the poor Virginia side of the family was in shock.
Yesterday afternoon another set of Virginia grandparents arrived, and the girls were so excited to see them! They visited upstairs and played with the girls all afternoon while I taught a few piano lessons. Grandma brought new clothes and bunches of hair clippies and bows (so much fun!) and also brought gifts from "Funny Lady". This is what my girls call their Aunt Paulette. She's so cute to think of them and send little presents! They get so spoiled. Anyway, all the new things kept them entertained all through piano lessons, which was nice! Grandma and Papa took us all to dinner at "Goodwood" (and yes, although everyone doubted me, I still managed to put down half a rack of ribs. I'm amazing that way.) and then we had dessert at Aunt Karissa's mommy and daddy's house and came home. The girls were exhausted by then and went straight to bed as soon as we walked in the door.
Thanks for dinner, Grandma and Papa, and thanks to the Flannigan's for dessert. My girls had so much fun spending time with all of you!
Today is BYU graduation, and this afternoon we'll be getting together for a huge family barbecue. Let's pray for no more snow!
Time to go charge my camera battery for all of the pictures I'm bound to take this afternoon...

How fun! I think the funnest part about family visiting is how excited the kids get about it all. It sort of rubs off on the adults too! I did notice that there were no pictures of you in the pool! Hmmmmmmm!
