I have pictures of the girls last year, wearing t-shirts and hunting for eggs all over our beautiful, springy yard. This year we woke up to something that looked a little more like Christmas...
SO, the "Easter Bunny" hid the eggs all over the house. The very smart Easter Bunny put initials on each and every egg so that each child would end up with the exact same amount of the exact same thing (little girls, you gotta love 'em). The girls were remarkably sweet while helping each other find their eggs. They've all been on a sugar-high ever since.
Grandma also made each girl a Easer goodies/Conference activity bag. They have been WONDERFUL! The girls have spent the weekend playing Bingo, coloring, doing sticker pages, and keeping their sugar levels nice and high.
We've had a nice, lazy weekend spent mostly in our pajamas. Kaiya was angry at me today because I wouldn't let her put her Easter dress on. I'm so mean. She calmed down once I told her that we'll go shopping for new sandals to go with it over her spring break this week.
Let's just hope the snow melts in time to wear them.
Happy Easter, everyone!

Brrrr....I got cold just looking at those pictures. It's been hot here -- we even hit 90 a couple of days!
But then, my heart was warmed when I saw pictures of the girls.
