First of all, a big, BIG thanks to Michelle! She came and picked up the girls at 7:30 in the morning to take them to the big 4th of July parade. They were so excited that they were up EXTRA bright and early, ready to go! They had a great time, got all sugared up, and then came home for naps.
After naps, we needed to keep them entertained until it was time for the 4th of July barbecue and fireworks. Dennis suggested the pool and slip n' slide, which ended up being the perfect activities on such a hot day!

We went to a barbecue at our friends Jeremy and Michelle's house. They were so sweet to invite us, and we had a great time with everyone there! Michelle seriously made this a great day for our family. What a sweetheart. I have the BEST friends.
