Fun with Grandma and some random pics...

Dennis' mom has been here in Utah visiting the last few days. I'm surprised she dared come back after taking care of my kids for a week this past summer! :) The girls are always excited to see her. Since we knew it would be a short trip, we decided to pull Kaiya out of school a little early on Thursday and go to "Kangaroo Zoo" to enjoy some time with her. The kids all had a great time - except Hayden who was being extra cranky. She ended up throwing up in the car on the drive home. Grandma was so happy to be there. Wouldn't want to miss these precious moments!

Grandma is flying home to Virginia right now, and Kaiya already recieved a goodbye email from her. She was thrilled. We all can't wait for the next visit!

Some pictures from Kangaroo Zoo...

Friday night I was lucky enough to go see "New Moon" with a bunch of girlfriends. (Yes, I went to a movie on my daughters birthday. We'd already celebrated, but she still won't let me forget it. She'll have to work that out in therapy when she's older.) I had a great time! I thought it was much better than Twilight and now I'm excited for the next installment this summer.

As I was doing Claire's hair today before church, she was standing there frowning because I insisted on curling it. The whole time I curled her hair (all of 3 minutes) she stood there and kept folding her arms in a huff and saying, "I so so ANGRY at you!" Once she was all done and I showed her how pretty she looked, a little smile appeared on that previously grouchy face and said, "I sorry I mean to you, Mommy. I look like a pincess."

Here are the girls today after church. All my little Christmas Princesses:

And here's a random picture of Hayden asleep a few nights ago. She's just so stinkin' cute and she's obsessed with her little caterpillar. She's using it as a pillow in this picture...

So cute, except whey Hayden gets her finger stuck in said caterpillar. I don't know how you do 4 little girls hair, I can barely handle 2. Cute pics.

I can tell you that Grandma is willing to brave those scary airplane trips because she loves those 4 girls so completely and deeply.

And, Funny Lady loves them, too. I didn't make my goal of coming to Utah in 2009, so let my try for 2010.
